Kliux urban wind turbines will be installed in buildings in Bottrop, Germany and Malmö, Sweden

Kliux Energies is the only Spanish representative in the Smart Cities project within the Seventh European Framework Programme, which will be held in the cities of Bottrop, Germany and Malmö, Sweden.

The Smart City Ruhr project, involving 19 companies and research centers in 5 countries, was presented to European authorities on December 3. It will be developed between 2013 and 2018 and the planned investment amounts to 175 million euros, of which 30 million will be financed by European funds.

Kliux Energies will participate in the development of power generation solutions at the place of consumption including the implementation of at least 2 of its completely silent vertical axis wind turbines in selected buildings.
